El Presidente Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 As a refresher, check out the below list from Cuban Cigar Website http://www.cubancigarwebsite.com/releases.aspx#Edition_Limitada_Series Whether you are a fan of the LE program or not, there are some cracker cigars on that list. I have been fortunate enough to smoke all of them over the years and have my own firm favourites. What in your opinion were the best three Limited Edition Releases since 2000? Rank your top 3 for us
TheGipper Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 #1 Montecristo Robustos 2000 #2 Partagas Piramides 2000 #3 Partagas Serie D No 3 2001 While there have been decent ELs since then, to my taste nothing has been as magical as those early releases.
westg Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 1 Monte 520 had another one on the weekend with the Perth boys .The most complex flavour filled cigar I can remember having 2 Cohiba Supremo absolutely magnificent picked up a couple of boxes from FOH my brother sent me a box and I split a box with my great mate Clive (Miner)...they will be gone before to long 3 Cohiba 1966 these are truly magnificent have couple of boxes put away Special mention to the Hoyo short piramides although they are well back in the field I really like them and for the price a bargain ..still a few around as well. Smoked bits and pieces of the earlier stuff but have only been around Cubans for the last five or six years so that's my top three ..

Ken Gargett Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 #1 Montecristo Robustos 2000 #2 Partagas Piramides 2000 #3 Partagas Serie D No 3 2001 While there have been decent ELs since then, to my taste nothing has been as magical as those early releases. can't argue that they were all terrific. almost finished my last partagas piramides and while i don't think that they are as good as they were, they have been wonderful. hoyo epicure especiale 2004 (rob, that was the one i was trying to think of yesterday). still amazing. getting better. then either the cohiba DC's 2003 or sublimes 2004. they'd be my 3 (or 4) in no particular order. 1

smokum Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Just smoked an 07 Escudos. They were crap when I got them. They are still crap after a long rest. Mostly due to being tight at the head end. 1
