maduro Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 When in southern Florida, you have to visit the, Corona Cigar Company 7792 W Sand Lake Rd Orlando, . Vast floor space, incredible selection. Smoke while you shop. Coffee, alcohol, televisions sets in the bar area and sandwiches are available . Outdoor patio if you chose. Knowledgeable and attentive staff, not stuck up at all. A definite paradise that will be difficult to pull yourself away from. 1
Rushman Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 Serious Cigars (Ron is owner) has three locations in Houston area. Great peeps and stock. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
rigby Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 Havana Cigars in San Pedro Belize… Carlos is the owner, a cuban ex-pat and a man who knows cigars. Nothing quite like buying cubans from your local cuban!

421eme Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Victory Cigars in Oshawa, Ontario - Kevin and Julian are the owners and it really is a family run business. Awesome guys to deal with! Cheers Smoke Shop in Toronto, Ontario - Peter is the owner and his selection is really good, as well as his prices! My two go to stores within the GTA. All the best, Carl
ned Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Here in sydney I have to go with the Havana Express. Justin who runs the shop is always friendly and helpful. not the biggest humidor in the store but they can get you anything you want. Back in the US I love going to Fumare in reno nv. it was the closest shop to where i lived, 3 hours away. Dion who owns the shop also owns the illusione brand. it is one of my favorite brands. The shop has great customer service, and a nice big lounge. The humidor is very well stocked and looked after. 1
TM-US Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Going by city: LCDH in Montreal Davidoff in NYC (53rd & Madison, Columbus Circle store closed) De LA Concha in NYC (closed, reopening as the Davidoff store to replace Columbus Circle) Holts in Philadelphia 1
tmac77 Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Visit LCDH in Toronto when I am working there. The most exceptional service on the planet. 2
mk05 Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 I really enjoyed LCDH Toronto. Can't smoke inside - learned the hard way - but a very nice staff, outdoor ashtray/drink service, and scene of Yorkville.
straizor Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 all three portmann stores. great service. exceptional stock and always great to share a smoke with all three of them Gesendet von iPad mit Tapatalk
MIKA27 Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 For me, local B&M would be: - LCDH at the Grand Hyatt, in Melbourne CBD, Sattish is always most helpful. - A regular for me is always Alexanders in Toorak, I love the humidor, the old world feel of the store, and John is always welcoming and he quite often asks me to sit down while he makes us both a coffee and we chat over coffee and cigar. What I love about John is that you can be a guy who buys 5 Cabs of cigars or 5 singles and he'll still offer you a coffee or make time to chat if you were the later bloke.
Armaniac Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 I have to go with LCDH Montreal. Great and knowledgeable staff and a huge selection. You can smoke inside and the atmosphere is very relaxing
LLC Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 LCDH in Toronto is a great spot to sit outside and enjoy a cigar but I say the LCDH in Montreal tops it.
polarbear Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 Barranows in Melbourne gets my vote While its really a lounge/bar first and a B&M second, the guys there are friendly and are very knowledgeable about cigars and whiskeys. Wal has a great selection of CC's and NC's as well as heaps of vintage and aged CC's for sale, many of which he personally purchased over the years The lounge is great and their selection of fine sprits is prob one of the best in Melbourne. I always make the time to stop by whenever I'm in Vic. Totally worth the trip if you're in Melbourne 1

Alexanders is the first B&M I ever set foot in. If i close my eyes I can still remeber the smell of the his walk-in humidor 1
Scdalak Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 LCDH Montreal, but only when Simon (Strada) is working!
kittipong Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 LCDH Amsterdam, staff is very helpful and great service. Most beautiful LCDH shop ever seen. PGC heijenus has long history and beautiful decoration with good service from beautiful staffs. Smoking lounge also very cozy. LCDH Gent, Frederic is my good friend, he is very keen to help his customer to find any rare cigars per requested plus his special beer is perfect drink with cigars.
LordAnubis Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 I have to give a shout out to the Cigar Cave in Paris Charles De Gaul Airport Terminal 2E (airside). I walked in and had a look around and noticed that ALL the boxes were open (as seals cut). I got to talkign with the guy there who knew his fair share about cigars, and then he explained that the reason they are all opened is that they inspect every box that comes in for quality and defects etc. Was very impressed, especially when at other airport duty frees (a major hub in the middle east) i frequently visit they get really shitty if you ask to open up boxes and inspect. These guys don't have anything fancy, just good quality current stock. I would in fact buy a box blind from them. If you have a mule going through id say you'd be fine if you got them to just buy a box without inspection. The prices on the other were up to you to decide if it's worth it for you.
Mahstah Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 Of course I will nominate W. Curtis Drapers. Stores in downtown Washington DC, Bethesda MD and the Civil Cigar Lounge in Friendship Heights, DC. Great staff, great selection of NC's and the lounge is top shelf. 2nding the W. Curtis Draper Tobacconist, Washington DC store (the other stores you have to deal with maryland taxes, but they have much better lounges ) great selection of NCs, Staff is great.
rbelcastro Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 In Monaca, PA King Beaver Cigars and Tobacco is my go to. Ched is awesome and always makes me feel welcome. As far as CCs, when I visit Cozumel, Havana Bob's is my first stop. Fantastic guy who really enjoys his trade.
