El Presidente Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Jimenez, 50, credits ‘good food, wine and cigars’ after latest European Tour triumph http://www.thescore.ie/miguel-angel-jimenez-spanish-open-1471931-May2014/ 2
kuma Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 He's called the "mechanic" because I think he is very focused on the work at hand. He is also the real "most interesting man alive" which I find more so than the beer guy. Wish Spain would pick him as a team member for the Ryder Cup golf series. They need this guy more than they need 30 somethings that all act and look alike. This guy brings an unPC vibe and loads of character. Had that lit "Siglo VI" hanging from his mouth. What a guy.
AndrewNR Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Brilliant Good to see some positive press. So often cigars are a motif or accessory used to portray a bad or seedy person nowadays.
Habana Mike Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Saw him sink his birdie putt on 16 during round 4 and move into the money at Augusta last month. Great player, especially considering his regimen!
Ryan Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Here he is warming up on the final day of the Masters this year, where he came in 4th. I saw him around a few times at the Habanos Festival in 2010, where he was one of the guests of honour. Quite the dude.
