On the nose, still has the signature Highland Park honey/caramel but now with lots of fruitiness from the sherry. On the palate there is more spice than the typical 12 Year Old. Sorry for the dark photos. Started with some private barrel selection samples from Four Roses Distillery, then tried some Old Suntory Special Reserve, old bottle of Chivas 12. Surprisingly this was better then today's Chivas. Opened an old tax stamp bottle of Canadian Club, Cade heads Bottle of Coal Ila 29, son Douglass Laing Bravel sherry cask, and Glendronach 15.
