Been starting to think about what to smoke to bring in 2013 which made me think of the above question 'Do you have a certain cigar that you smoke to bring in the New Year?

I usually pick my cigar when I am going to smoke it at New Years. No real rhyme or reason. Just whatever I want at the time.

One added benefit is that Champagne and cigars are a dream pairing. If you haven't done this yet, I encourage you to give it a try. SSSoooo good.

Do you have a special cigar for New Years?????

Not per se'. I'm stuck smoking outside usually. Though I have been lucky enough to have a PSD4 two NYE's ago at 0C with no wind.:lol: And yes, Champagne is a great pairing. I might try to indulge in a nice cigar in the garage.

I usually don't plan ahead but probably a RA898 that I was very graciously gifted by Kevin - Thanks again, brother! :2thumbs:

I don't always plan a smoke, but when I do, I pick one out of a humidor.

Hmmm...that one didn't really have the effect I went for.

I don't know. Maybe I'll roll two dice and smoke whatever decade the roll tells me? Hope I don't get snake eyes!

Like others, nothing planned... possibly something between 45 minutes and 2 hrs long... with at least 2 months of age on it ;) ... provided I actually smoke something.

Maybe my wife will let me stick my face next to the fire place while I enjoy a smoke. :D

It will depend on the weather.

X2 Depend on how much it is below 0 as the garage heater has a hard time keeping the garage warm.

It's minus 22 C outside of rcky's garage right now. Take heart my friend I predict a warming trend coming our way - eventually.

I will be spending NYs in south central British Columbia where a more tolerable 0 C can be expected. If so, and provided my health returns, I might just try champagne and a Siglo VI.

It will depend on what I find at J&J in Cabo. Being a Yank, I don't normally have the opportunity to stroll through a humidor housing CCs. My wife may be in for a long stay, so hopefully they will have drinks she will enjoy while I peruse the options, and apparently weigh the novelty with the prices. Oh well, I'm on vacation and will let the purse strings go. party.gif

Cheers!!!!

Edmundo Dantes Conde 54 Mexico is what is planned but if I get too drunk I will smoke something more pedestrian as to not waste it. Kaskade in SoBe is the plan right now so we shall see

I am going to throw 15 sticks in my travel humidor and pick one of them. I have been sitting (not literally) on a partagas lusi but I dont know if I want to invest all that time. Probably something lonsdale in size or cg, maybe a boli RE of some variety

It's going to be a cold one but I plan for my first cigar of 2013 a VI from 2003, or a Montecrsito DC 2001... Gotta go for a long smoke, hopefully can do it in my basement.

Alas not as it's pretty much either raining or freezing or both in London on new years...first smoke of the New year tends to be special though
