Bacardi Oakheart

Seen the adverts..Anyone tried? thoughts? I think it's a spiced rum.

I've had a few with coke and fresh lime and a few with dry and fresh lime. I usually drink Mt *** rum, and I found it to be a bit sweeter with a touch of spice bit it did seem a bit muted in flavour. I haven't had any straight up yet.

I've got a bottle of it. Not too bad, but personally, Captain Morgan 100-proof Spiced Rum is better, if you want a strong spiced rum. I really only like Captain Morgan for that (and Tattoo rum), but for Bacardi, I only like their superiore/white. This Oakheart is a good try, but I find it lacking in the overall flavour/body of the rum. Seems too sugary, to rush-processed, so the cane sugar flavour comes through a bit too much.

I tried it and didnt enjoy it at all!! Way too sweet, and weak in strength and taste.
