Hi Guys and Gals,

First time blogger, long time lurker of the forum

Bit of a background on my cigar life, I've had a cigar here and there for special occasions before but only recently started taking this up as a hobby, trying out a few Monte's, Cohiba's and Partagas. Came across this forum quite early on via the cigar reviews on Youtube and have enjoyed the easy going ebb and flow and at the same time finding some informative stuff to digest.

I've been checking out the Poker chatter and would probably look to hooking into that scene in the near future. I couldn't imagine a better day then have a game of poker on a sunny day in the yard with a few good friends, a cigar in one hand and a beer in the other. I'll be heading to the Vegas in late June to check out the WSOP action as well as Rhumbar and Casa Fuente of course and will probably visit San Francisco as well so keen to take in any tips from locals in this forum on what cigars to try. My thinking is the Fuente Fuente Opus X is a must try?

cheers,

Kam

Welcome to FoH! Stateside, outside of the FF Opus X, I'd look into AF Anejos, as well as an Padrons from the 1926 or 1964 lines. I prefer the maduro, but the Padron's come in Natural wrappers as well. You'll love Rhumbar and Casa Fuente while in Vegas. Enjoy

Thanks for the welcome fellas and the tips, will definitely check out some padrons. Actually looking forward to some reasonable prices for cigars, tobacco tax is a real kill joy down under.
