Medium in body.

Woody with a touch of nuts ,cinnamon and caramel back taste of floral honey , slightly salty

Medium body .

Still nuts, more pronanoced tobacco taste and some dargeling tea with some slight cinnamon notes , saltiness gone

The cigar didn't evolve a lot but a satisfying 60 minute smoke, I prefer these earlier in the day since they fit the bill with some coffee.

Rated it 87.

Hello Smokinpeace,

Very nice review and lovely photographs as well. I think you captured this cigar very well. These Dip4's really shine when the nutmeg comes through.

Thank you for sharing,

Curtiss

I have a few from the same factory/date that I picked up in a box split and quite enjoyed the one I smoked. Not too complex, but very smooth. Draw and burn were perfect. An short hour well spent.

Great review! I LOVES me some cinnamon in cigars :)

I have some of these from '09 as well. I've only had one, but it was not ready yet, quite muted and not much beyond the typical tobacco flavor. How long until these tend to hit their stride, typically?

Yeah cinnamon in cigars is one of my favorite flavors (love cinnamon in general) as well.

I also had a box of these (same boxcode as reviewer) and found the last one, smoked last week, was the best of the bunch and a HUGE improvement compared to all the ones before it. So I think 2,5/3 years should be great for these, but who knows what 5 years will do to them :P

I ordered another box right after smoking that last one, I was so impressed by it! Another OPM 09 but from January this time. Hope they arrive soon :)

Thank you for sharing you time spent with the Dip 4. The blend in these cigars are unique and will be missed since there's not much anything like it. It doesn't try to be else. RIP Dip 4

As Tampa used to say. Lovely "paprika spice". Glad I still have a box and a half. These put other PC's to shame in my opinion. Just too bad I can't smoke them as often as I'd like. Eff you Habanos S.A.
