Colt45 Posted June 5, 2011 Posted June 5, 2011 Great as always - the cigar camouflage just may be my favorite of all you've shared with us to date
finecigar Posted June 5, 2011 Posted June 5, 2011 I love the mixed media collage numbered 1/3. Do you have a website for your art? If not, you should invest some time into that. There are so many cigar enthusiasts out there who would go crazy for this kind of work. It is beautiful because you don't do some typical or always realistic view of a cigar. And you have these unique formats and the material used ties great in with the cigars. Your work is awesome keep up the good work, Stalebread, it's inspiring to a fellow artist like myself. P.s. You should work some deal with some of those exotic humidor brands who always have terribly boring visuals on the top of the desktop humidors. Then the thousand dollar + price tag would be much more justified
lemmycaution Posted June 5, 2011 Posted June 5, 2011 I really like the Cigar Camouflage too. Keep 'em coming.
CohibaBehike Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 Loved the middle one, is that a bolivar band? The camo one is really swell to, great stuff!
Habanakane21 Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 Very Good!! I especially like the the second painting. Very Nice... Thanks for sharing with us.

Stalebread Posted June 8, 2011 Author Posted June 8, 2011 Thanks for all your comments, Gents. I love the mixed media collage numbered 1/3. Do you have a website for your art? With that 1/3 I was thinking about review videos and how we talk about finishing the first third, second third, and so on.No, I don't have a website. I guess I should consider one. For now, I have some of my work up on a third party site that's sort of an on-line gallery for artists. Loved the middle one, is that a bolivar band? The camo one is really swell to, great stuff!Yeah, I guess it's a Bolivar band. Abstract? Impressionistic? Who knows? It's from a watercolor that wasn't worth keeping but I liked the rendering of the cigar so cut it out, scanned it and have used the image in several pieces.
