Hypothetical

You woke up in a haze and rubbed the empty rum bottle lying next to you as a last thanks for a job well done. Blow and behold a Cigar genie popped out and granted you one wish of one customised cigar that would replenish itself for the rest of your life (does anyone else have this dream? :2thumbs: )

The Genie wants to know 3 things

1. The size and shape of the cigar.

2. You can use the blend of upto two existing cigars to provide him a flavour and body profile to go on.

3. The wrapper colour

Over to you :D

Corona Gorda, blended mixing flavors from Partagas 898 and Trinidad Robusto T, with dark colorado wrappers... (more concerned with oil and darkness, personally)

A man can dream...

Posted

Robusto Extra, oily maduro wrappers, combining the smooth creamy nuttiness of the Upmann Mag 50 LE with the bitter chocolate of the Montecristo "D" LE. I know that this sounds a little fancy, but it's my dream!

No, I do not have this dream......

Churchill

VR Famoso & Hoyo Churchill (this week:-)

Colorado / Colorado Claro - smooth and silky

Perfecto, like the RA Celestial Finos in shape and length but thinner (40-42 ring gauge). Dark colorado wrapper. Creamy chocolatey goodness with a dusting of chili spiciness. Kinda like a hot choclate with chili powder mixed in, but in stick form!

Churchill, with elements of Bolivar Corona Gicante and Upmann Mag 48. Colorado maduro wrapper, extra oily.

A Monte Especial #1 shape, but with a ring gauge nearer 40.

A combination of the strength of a Partagas, with the creamy expression of a Siglo III would suit nicely.

Colorado wrapper.

For me, that would achieve darned near "Desert Island" status.

Coronas Grandes 42 x 155

Oily Colorado Wrapper

Mix the flavors of a ripe JL2 with a Stonefruit bomb of a Mag50, medium plus please!

Dalias, mixed between a Ramon Allones and Por Larrañaga (Spicy, dark fruit from RA and Honey, sweet cream from the PL) and the wrapper will be DARK

*Hope I'm not comitting sacriledge here - but I would LOVE to mix a Jamaican puro Santa Cruz with the Vuelta Abajo tobacco of a Ramon Allones (or Por Larranaga Petite corona) and blend the two into an 898 size. If the Genie let's me experiment (!!!) I will substitute Cameroon tobacco for the Jamaican. But will be sure to have Habana tobacco as the one defining main ingredient! :cigar::D

BHK52 blend and wrapper in a long Panetela (38 x 7) and DONE

Dream come true :D

a Partagas 898 Varnished size & shape; the flavour of a 5-7 years aged Par D4 with a touch of the Fruit cake zest you can get from todays Par P2; Oily dark colorado wrapper. when can i get those?

Posted

A corona gorda that is a combo of PLPC and Sancho Panza Non-Plus.

1/3: Floral, cream, Christmas spice, and a hint of salt.

2/3: Caramel, salt, and a hint of creaminess

3/3: Earth, salt, dark roast coffee, and black pepper spice.

Oily Colorado wrapper.

Alternate choice: A robusto that has the exact same flavor profile as a Partagas Connie 3.

I'd request an A size culebra with the flavors of a Punch RS11 combined with a Partagas 898V.

Posted

Just keep me supplied with 2002 Partagas Lonsdales with a lighter wrapper (best I can say being color blind) and I'll be happy.

Seems like I'm not the only Corona Gorda fan out there :P

For me, It would be a Corona Gorda but maybe a little bit longer,(2cm more).

I would then call it a Corona Gorda Extra.

With the exact blend as the custom "Monsdale" from Enrique Mons.

I'd be fine just smoking that for the rest of my life, and even beyond :D

My custom cigar

Size: Ring gage; 45 length: 160 mm

Wrapper: A nice oily one a tad darker than Colorado

Blend: mix of a lovely Punch Super Selection #2 and all of its Raisin/nut/cedar flavours with a nice deep chocolate/Cocoa HMD des Dieux.

Oh great Gin! I want not for flavor profile, size nor color. I want the gift of a wonderful smoking experience each time I select the cigar from the magic box. Surprise me, I just want a robust, charismatic and complex cigar that does not cost my left ******** to purchase!!!

Great cigars are like great friends. They are not all the same. Some lean left and others right. Tall, short, lean or harry, it does not matter! The material that makes a great friend like the great cigar is from the inside. A great cigar has soul and like men are not to be profiled!
