This box has been in my humidor for a week now.I smoked one ROTT as I mostly do and it was ok,nothing great or outstanding (fair enough for a young stick just off the plane) but a lot of the Montecristo flavours that we all know and love.So we come to tonight and another one,I'd planned on waiting at least another week but I've had some truly wonderful smokes with this cigar in the past and I couldn't/didn't resist.Very sad to say that for the first time ever a cigar has actually made me feel slightly nauseous! I tried to stick with it through lots of relighting around the edges and just very bitter and sour tastes but I had to lay it down no further than halfway.Actually smoked a cigarette immediately afterwards to help get rid of the taste!!

Anyway,don't ask me why but before I binned it I took it apart just to have a thumb through,just to see,you know.And I've spotted something which,whist it may well be quite normal for all I know,looks worrying and not normal to me and has not made me feel any less queasy!! Anyway I've taken a few photos and I'd love for you guys to see it and feel free to pass any comments you may have.My apologies in advance because the pictures are not of the greatest clarity as they're taken with my phone but hopefully you'll be able to pick enough up.Watch this space....

Regardless...as a rule I would discount any results if smoking a cigar before 30-60 days of rest (after air shipping).

I guess that despite the fact that one knows instictively that to buy cheap is often to buy nasty,it seems that sometimes it's a lesson that has to be learned the hard way rather than through simple acceptance (I'm speaking only for myself).I've no doubt that these sticks are genuine Habanos,I just think I've been sent **** (probably not intentionally) Maybe this is what becomes of the boxes that other vendors,The Czar included,sent right back from whence they came on sight.Oh well,lesson learned Spend just a few dollars more Mike!!!
