Well done to Oz for spanking the current holders of the T20 world cup.

Looking for England to do the same to the West Indies tonight.

It's not test cricket,but it's worth a look....

Ps,I was given a couple of "benchmade" corona gorda, and had one while watching the cricket.

Worst cigar I've ever had, started bitter as hell, then developed no flavour at all, gave me a chemical headache.......

I'm just now starting to warm to the idea of T20. For some reason its taken me some time to get into it- we've had some great test cricket these last few years.

Good luck to the poms as well.... not to much though. :covermouth:

Nah I still hate it. It's ersatz, Cricket Lite with none of the subtlety and nuance of Test Cricket or even ODI's.

It should never have gone above National Level IMHO.

I view it as a different game.

There is nothing like test cricket, with the ebb and flow.

It has its moments of exitement,ie,Watsons big hitting,4 sixes in an over, and a 4 wicket maiden.....

You're right Rob,test cricket has become much closer and more interesting because of it.If Only I could afford a trip to Oz.......

i'll watch any test cricket i can. truly the greatest of all games. i'll even watch some one day stuff - enjoy the world cup. but have absolutely interest in 20-20. complete waste of time. actually worse as it will damage real cricket in the long term. the sauvignon blanc of sport.

Test cricket is my first love - and my one reliable soul mate.

One day cricket is my mistress.

T20 is an ugly pick up after a drunk night out with friends.

I'll get me coat......

In seriousness,One day has become dull beyond compare,If T20 replaces this,I wouldn't be too bothered.

I view it as an entirely different sport, really a minor distraction.

Nothing will replace Test cricket for me.

  • 2 weeks later...

Well, as it turns out - I havent watched a single match this whole series.

Not a protest on my part... I just never got around to it... and I forgot it was on.

I have tended to do this in previous years, but i've found this year quite interesting, particularly with finishes like last night.

I still pay no attention to the IPL.
