cigarros Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Of the lots in auction, the most significant was the lot number 6, Cohiba Humidor, made by Cuban craftsman Jose Ernesto Aguilera, with two towers and 350 Habanos, including Cohiba, the most emblematic cigars, and the new BHK as well. laficion Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Here is a link to the HABANOS SA website and the auction this year Whatever the prices, these are simply some of the most fantastic looking Humidors. The art and the style of these Humidors are close to perfection http://www.habanos.com/article.aspx?aid=387 Enjoy
luisparis Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 Some awesome humidors for sure ! As well as typos in the first link . How much the Cohiba Humidor was actually sold ? 335 000 euros are missing to the total...
LiLo Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 While the Cohiba one is amazing and unique. I like the partagas one the best. Really classy.
alan2 Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 Very nice humidors. I would take any one of them!.....if I were a multi-millionaire.
mkz Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 Beautiful showpieces indeed!! But if I had the opportunity to choose (which I dont) I would go for the creapy Punch humidor anytime: http://www.friendsofhabanos.com/forum/inde...showtopic=97173
finecigar Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 What a beautiful selection of humidors being presented this year- I'm sure any of us here would want that but it is close to impossible. I'd rather just stick to the delicious & classic cuban cigars- Besides this new Behike
samb Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 Those are some of the most gorgeous humis Ive ever seen!!
sandholm Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 Those are some of the most hiddies humidors I have ever seen!! H. Upmann is nice, nothing special but nice, Hoyo de Monterrey, they must have used a coffin as a model... Romeo y Julieta, tried to imitate something old, failed. Partagás, top ok, bottom is horrible, Montecristo, welcome to the warehouse, here we stack boxes (come on I love Montecristo...) Cohibia, made in habanna for the "look at me" market... just plain sad nothing that i look when it comes to class and humidors, a humidor should emphasis the content, not be the show piece.
luisparis Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 So how much was the Cohiba humidor sold for ? definetely not 40000euros as indicated in the link...
