  1. Comes on like a freight train of cream, wood, and leather. Completely overwhelms the palate. Hint of sweetness but leaves the mouth dry. Draw is spot on. Construction, spot on. This is an incredible first third. Don't want it to change. Stay like this for whole cigar and it will be the best cigar of the year for me. 2/3 I don't know why I have and ash tray. 99% of the time the ash falls on my lap. The power of the cream and leather have mellowed and there is a new flavor but it's hard to describe. Old musty tobacco . Not harsh or in your face, just adds class to this remarkable stick. I think I have a tear in my eye. The woodiness is picking up. So it that hint of sweetness that I can't quite pinpoint .The flavors don't stay on the palate too long. The cigar wants you too keep drawing from it but you have to slow down. If you over heat it, the flavors get muddled. Temperamental little sucker. I'm actually talking to the cigar. I need help. Final 1/3 Now we're getting down and dirty. Cream ... gone, wood almost gone. Leather and old musty tobacco take over. Kind of mongrel but there is still a sweetness. Smooth as a gravy sandwich. Class This cigar needs care to smoke. I could not have scotch with this, it would overpower the flavors. Coffee, espresso, perfect for me. I will admit I'm not a Sancho Panza guy, but this is the 5th cigar from this box that I acquired from our host a few years ago, and every one was like this. Bravo.
  2. I have a cab of the same. They need a little more time. There very good but in a year or 2 they will open up.

  4. Parti Short. Little bugger hits right from the start. ALT OCT 13 50 cab. Hitting their stride now!
  5. Got to tell you Luca, I crack up every time I see that pic of Laurence jamming 3 cigars in his mouth. Priceless !
  6. Here's what I do. I have 3 cabinet humidors and a large 200-300 desktop. One of my cabinets has a large draw also. I keep in boxes until about 1/4 left then I transfer to desktop. In the cabinet draw I store my rotation sticks and a few LE's to torture myself.65% in cabinets. 67% Bovida packs in desktop, just because I'm lazy. I love the Bovidas.
  7. How about no set start times. Just put it up whenever you please. We"ll be checking out phones all day.
  8. R&J Exibition POU 13. Wow wow wow. This box is increadable. Every stick is off the charts.
  9. As Ken would say "why bother", but I just had to buy the tins. Construction was fine, draw perfect. Nuts and cream but with a bitter aftertaste. Does not linger on the palet . As I smoked it to the 1/2 way point, 10 minutes in, lost most of the bitter aftertaste. It was actually ok. Defiantly too short for me, 20 minute total and had a perfect burn. Smoked it after dinner with a double espresso. Btw the darn thing is so small I accidentally ashed it down my [email protected]$!g sleeve. Actually pretty funny .
  10. Just had a R&J Churchill from 2014 last weekend. Outstanding. Smooth, cream and cherries, The last few years they have been top notch.
  11. The humidity for cigars is absolutely a personal preference. I keep mine at 65. As for how long to keep your cigars in your humidor before smoking, I like to keep them a couple months to acclimate them after their little trip 1/2 around the world. But I have a nice stock to smoke while I'm waiting. Try one after a month to see what you think.
  12. I've been stocking up. Just bo got a box of tubes.
  13. Trinidad Viigia , looks beautiful but is a wind tunnel. It was so light and underfilled I could actually draw from it BEFOR I clipped the end. No shit. I am slow smoking it. It's actually very good. Not hot at all.
  14. My absolute favorite cigar. Bar none , the best.
  15. Same but add Monte Sublime. My top 5 list for sure. Seems our tastes are similar.
  16. No doubt consistency is an issue with CC's but when their on, nothing comes close.
