  1. I agree with Rob... Move on. Does anyone from either side believe they will suddenly be convinced that their views and outlook is wrong? Unlikely. What side am i on? does it really matter? Nope. I will have a cigar with both sides It reminds me of when my Dad was a taxi driver. He said you should never talk to a customer about politics, religion or sport. Shame really cos they are among the most interesting things in life
  2. I was expecting that loss given our injuries! Anyway, that was what... your second win out of ten games at that ground for you guys? Gotta give you some motivation
  3. Against a full strength Reds.. not a hope. However, with the amount of injuries we have at the mo.. it wouldnt surprise me if the Force got up. I mean we on our fourth choice for first five-eighth. Should be a good game either way!
  4. Welcome! This is a very informative and relaxed forum. Enjoy your stay!!

    Wineador Problem

Sorry i did mean to say demineralised water and not deionised water. The reason i ask is because demineralised water can be corrosive. Demineralised water can be a scavenger. It picks-up trace impurities very readily. I would suggest changing the water to distilled water.

    Wineador Problem

Are you actually using distilled water or are you using deionised water??
  9. The other day i went to a psychiatrist. "Doc," I said, "I keep having these alternating recurring dreams. First I'm a teepee, then I'm a wigwam, then I'm a teepee, and then I'm a wigwam. It's driving me crazy. What's wrong with me?" The doctor replied, "It's very simple. You're two tents."
  10. My condolences to you and to all that knew him. Words can never provide satisfactory support so i will just say i hope you grieve in the best way for you and that you always remember the good times.

    New to this

A humidor is a sealed environment. The beads, if maintained correctly, will keep the humidity at their stated level. The humidity outside of the humidor will not effect the inside humidity unless you allow the outside humidity in i.e open the humidor. If you open the humidor the humidity may rise... or lower depending on the outside humidity. Once the humidor is sealed again then the beads will do their work again.
  13. You should tell your mate to get a Kettleblock from PowerBlock. Expensive but they are awesome on space saving. Kettleblock
  14. Hi all Im currently in the middle of building my own winador. I still have the default wire racks and would like to replace them with some nice Spanish Cedar (Cedrela odorata). However it seems to be extremely hard to source. I have tried the local timber places and even asked a couple of cabinet maker mates to no avail. So my question is this.. where is a good place to get it from within Australia... OR ....is there an easier to obtain wood that is just as good??
  15. Lol Ken how about you express how you really feel P.S i tend to agree with you

    Recommended TV series

I strongly agree with Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead. Breaking Bad just gets better season after season. Pity they are only making one more. The Walking Dead is a good one as well. Its more of a slow burn rather than an action series. Other good ones are The Killing, again a good slow burn series. The other one i would recommend is True Blood. I am by no means into vampires but i do enjoy True Blood. Dexter has to be my favorite series. Pity that it seems Season 4 was the high point and its been downhill ever since.
  17. I would say u have one prediction already as I would say the Broncs have already started to self destruct Wooden Spooners for this year i reckon
  18. I have been getting singles so far as I don’t want to be buying a lot of something I don’t like. I also don’t have a storage setup yet either. So far, it has been mainly an educational process in that I have been trying to determine a brand and type that I really like. So far I have tried a couple of R&J’s, the Cohiba siglo range and a couple of Monti 4’s. I have even been using the video reviews to try and learn to pick up the range of flavours, smells and tastes. I found the R&J’s and Monti 4’s to be a bit too bitter towards the end of them for my liking, which may be purely because I am a casual cigar smoker. The best cigar I have had lately has been a Siglo VI. However there are still plenty of good brands I have yet to try and I am open to any recommendations.
  19. Hi all! I am new to this forum but I thought I should post a hello message. I am 34, married with first child on the way, currently living in Ipswich, Queensland. It is the child on the way, which is the reason that I am here. I have always been a very casual cigar smoker. I might have one for new years or the occasional special occasion. It has always been very casual with very little knowledge or thought put in to it. I have however always enjoyed those casual cigars. However with the first child on the way, I thought I should do the traditional handing out of the cigars on the birth of the first born. However I feel as I should learn about cigars and learn the basics and find some cigars that I like and that I know a bit about. And this leads to where I am now. I am enjoying reading the posts in this forum and have even begun buying cigars to try out based on what people have posted in this forum. I am yet to find the one that I will be handing out when baby is born.... however I already see myself buying more and more cigars. It might be the start of a slippery slope but I do enjoy it and I am enjoying the journey so far.
