Either way this is a benefit to the Cuban people. If they can leave more readily they can work overseas, visiting home each year to bring money to their family and maintain their good citizenship standing. This is a huge plus for the Cuban people.

That's great...over the last 5 games of the season the Seahawks have outscored their opponents 193 - 60. We could go on and on statistically...numbers tell you what you want them to. I guess sometimes you have to take what you see and feel into the equation as well. What is it that Mark Twain said..."There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies and statistics."

I think it is fair to say that I along with most others didn't expect them to have the best record in the AFC. Did I doubt that Denver would be in the playoffs...Nope. I'm sure my call would be controversial to many, but I really don't think Elway would have pushed to sign him and offload Tebow if Manning wasn't in proper form to get Denver back into the playoffs and maybe farther. Also...it's the NFL...teams spike and meltdown regularly. It happens every season. It's optimal to have home field advantage through the playoffs...no doubt about it, but it's more important just to make the playoffs. Things happen. If the Texans didn't have a meltdown at the end of the season, Denver wouldn't have the best record. It's not all Manning...it's circumstances too, right?

Ken...for me it's not just winning games. Two teams can have the same W/L record week to week...it's the fashion in which they win. How big is the margin they won by. How well did the defense dominate...etc.

If they weren't expected to win...I don't think that Denver would have brought Manning in. It's not like he came cheap. In truth...all the teams in contention were expected to win. Granted some more than others. The best have comparable records. Being hot to me also entails to a degree not just winning games, but how you win them.

Looking at the line for those games...certainly no where near the margin they won by compared to other teams that are in contention...so yes.

The SB is going to be Packers vs. Pats. No doubt about it. Pats win it all this season. That's my prognostication. That and $2.50 will buy you a cup of coffee.

I don't think they consider you being on a hot streak when you're expected to win. It's when you're not and you're winning...that's when your hot.

I could truly care less if there was an NHL season this year. I was a peripheral NHL fan to being with, but with the debacle the negotiations have become...I'm now completely ambivalent. That said...I wouldn't mind seeing the Kings skate off with the Stanley Cup again this year.

The El Principe and La Punta are my favorites from the SCDLH line. While I hate to see any cigar go, if they have to cut the line, but not necessarily in its entirety, I suspect these two would be the survivors. At least I hope so...too many good cigars are disappearing way too quickly. A travesty...

I'm game for this...looking forward to it. Dropped quite a bit of weight during the last competition. Gained a few pounds back, so I'm looking forward to shedding those and then some.

Yes...Morris plays for Washington, but my NE commentary was aimed at Brady...another overlooked 6th round draft pick. No question that Morris benefits from Shanahan's running and blocking schemes...as well as the fact that RGIII is a run threat, but I don't think he should lose status points for playing in a scheme that he is well suited for. Hell...one could reasonably argue that both Sanchez and Vick could have had much better seasons if they were standing behind better offensive lines.

1. Luck 2. RGIII 3. Wilson I would also expect the Colts to be the most improved over time, as currently, Luck has the weakest supporting cast around him. As the quality of his teammates get better, Luck will get better too. All three teams may be playoff contenders for years to come, but Indy looks have the best chance at playoff longevity. As for bang for the buck rookie...you can't deny that Morris is it. Simply a phenomenal RB. Reminds me of another 6th round draft pick. Different position, but like Morris was overlooked. Just look at what he's accomplished in NE.
