At present, when it comes to a business mandating a certain vaccine status on its customers, I think there are more examples of anti-vax business owners disallowing those who are vaccinated, although I suspect the cases of this are still few and far between. Perhaps the opposite is around the corner as some have suggested - I for one hope not. To the question at hand though, part of me feels that if an employer provides their employees with a health care plan, and will be burdened with the cost of an employee’s Covid care (and ultimately the rest of their employees will share some of that burden through rising premiums), then they should have the option of mandating the vaccine. The employee is free to terminate their employment if they disagree. My employer encourages getting vaccinated based on currently available data, but based on a pretty open-minded company culture, and all of the unknowns swirling around, I don’t expect it will ever be mandated - until it becomes a cost-of-healthcare issue.

My guitar skills were stagnant for a decade or so, simply because I wasn’t picking it up to play very often. The last year and a half has made a huge difference.

Here’s a recent addition to the man-cave....the guitar, not the cat. I’ve had an acoustic guitar to pluck amateurishly away at for as long as I can recall, long enough to have a few licks finally flow somewhat naturally, but I’ve always wondered what an electric guitar felt like. My trusty acoustic for 30+ years has been a Taylor 814 ce, so when I recently read about Taylor making an electric guitar, the T5z,(technically an electric/acoustic, but it’s got the balls of an electric), I was immediately in lust. And the Koa version really caught my eye. I popped into our local music store 2 months ago to see if they had one to check out, and they had exactly one...in koa. I took it as a sign. I can’t tell you how fun it is to sit down next to my humidors with this thing and crank it up. My neighbors would probably disagree.

While there are duds to be found in both, I’m finding ER’s to be much better and more interesting in general than LE’s. I’m kinda over LE’s, in fact.

Haha, I’ve had the same thought....but I doubt that’s how the brain actually works once the goal is met. I’ve got about 8 years of CC’s, and another year or so of NC’s. By the way, this is the exact metric I use to keep track of my collection size 😆.

I wouldn’t say I hold out for anything, but I definitely have been doing regular checks for Esplendidos, Sir Winstons and Party 898’s. They’ve all been spotted recently, but man you’ve gotta be both lucky and quick these days!

I know they’re not readily available, or at least not inexpensively, but I haven’t had anything quite as unique as a Punch Mantua in some time. I can’t really describe it from memory, but there’s some very pleasant aromatic spices that I’ve never experienced before in a cigar.

I’ve got a sleeping ¾ box of RASS that’s now over 5 years old. It’s my second box, I thought maybe the first box was a dud. I’ve given it my best shot to understand the hype, but I’m beginning to think they’re just not in my wheelhouse - which seems strange since everyone and their brother loves them.
