  1. I’m definitely going to have to try aging a few of my cigars in the empty tubes I have laying around Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I’m not really doing a restoration, but my string trimmer stopped working, and I’m in the process of fixing it. Pretty much the first time I’ve dived this deep into an engine. But the problem should be fixed with a 4$ piston ring, instead of having to buy another trimmer for 200$ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I completely agree. Except the relaxation for me has started coming from picking back up with pipe smoking recently, because I don’t get heckled by the wife because she like the smell of the pipe smoke Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Congratulations mate! That is fantastic that you have found a new part of your family, and have found your father! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Haha! The cigar shop/lounge that I occasionally go to in Greer, SC has an ashtray set up like that next to the commode. I always thought that was really weird. And as for the eyes watering, my buddy’s dad like to hotbox the shop when we all smoke, sometime to the point where you can barely see across the room. But this happens all the time once the smoke level gets to high. It’s just irritation. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I’ve got to go withe the Reliant Robin. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I’ve smoked a few ghurkas, and over all, they aren’t bad. Just not my thing. And yes, the comparison to jersey shore fist pumpers is pretty accurate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. That is just advertising masquerading as an article Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Astonishingly good rums for the price are the Kirk and Sweeney 12 and 23 yr rums. Also, just got back from Aruba, where I️ had the pleasure of downing a bottle of the Ron Botran 15yr rum. 30$ (all US prices) for K&S 12 yr. 45$ for K&S 23 yr. and the Ron Botran was 30$ in the duty free, so definitely a bit more in the Wild Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. First Cuban box was RASS from *****int the beginning of this year. First box of NCs were some house special cigars from my local B&m, about a decade ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I've been meaning to do this for my 2 year old son. As stated, not that I'll force them on him, but I'd like to think he'll appreciate the idea behind it anyways Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Welcome Rob! I'm pretty sure there is no such thing as a big enough humidor Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Well, you used to be able to order automatics in the mail after the war. Through maybe 1960's (not sure of exact dates). Could have been one from then. And if he has the money, what does age have to do with buying a machine gun? It's not THAT difficult a process. No more than an SBR or suppressor Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Definitely a locksmith will probably be your best bet Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Oh I definitely agree that the restrictions make sense. And this is definitely one of a kind forum that snobbery has not taken a hold of Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Welcome to FOH mate Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Well, I know I've hit the 6 month mark, but since I'm more of a lurker than a talker, it'll definitely take me a while to hit 100 posts. At least this is one more step Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Thanks for the quick reply! I appreciate it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. So I'm thinking about purchasing one of the CC samplers, but the last time the sampler thread was updated (as far as I saw) was 2 years ago. Is there a current list of what the samplers contain? Or is the list from 2 years ago still valid? Thanks in advance for the help Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. This happens nearly every time I purge my cigars as well. Glad to know I'm not alone Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Mark Kurlansky is one of my favorite authors. I'm reading Paper by him at the moment
  22. I've seen that video before. I really enjoy Simon's expression at the end. Only time in any show where he is truly speechless. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Just wanted to introduce myself. I've been a cigar a pipe smoker for about 8 years now. I especially enjoy Cuban cigars when the occasion allows, but I mostly smoke non-cubans for evident reasons. I recently came across this forum while searching for how to re-season my humidor. I am certainly glad that I did, and I am excitedly waiting to order my first box of Cubans. I am married, have three kids, and a sheltie puppy. I'm a nurse. And I love firearms, shooting sports, and reloading. That about covers everything. Thanks, and I look forward to everything I will learn from this group of brothers and sisters of the leaf.
