  1. Spark of a lighter Curls of smoke rise like the sun Ah, tranquility
  2. -The Estancia San José de Bellavista, "One of the oldest houses for civil use in Arroyo Naranjo." served as the Gabino Campos cigar factory at some point after it was looted in 1933, abandoned by its owners, and used as the 14th police station. 3. The problem is that this is all theater that sacrifices elements of our freedom without actual benefit or improvement in safety. If there was a magical way for airport security to detect all threats that would be all well and good, but there isn't. Almost everything can make it through and they know it. http://www.cnn.com/2015/06/01/politics/tsa-failed-undercover-airport-screening-tests/
  4. Welcome from Lakewood ! You wouldn't happen to be a pilot, would you ?
  5. Happy birthday, Greg ! Thanks for all the hard work getting those smokes out like a year round Santa Claus.
  6. These are extremely effective if there is a clear path for the airflow: http://www.amazon.com/Lasko-2265QM-20-Inch-Performance-Velocity/dp/B0073CQ9XA/ Lasko 20" fan. 3670 CFM.
  7. I'd shy away even from a manual BMW at that mileage. Every little repair is going to cost quite a bit and significantly offset the savings you'll see up front with the lower initial cost.
  8. My costume at work today. I don't always wear a costume, but when I do, I ensure it allows me to smoke and drink.
  9. Wow indeed. What an inspirational thread and blog! I don't think I can even pretend to aspire to such greatness but I really enjoy reading your blog !
  10. I for one like the idea of a little chaos and lawlessness. Little triumphs of personal freedom like are part of what life should be. That Uber driver would get a big tip.
  11. I read the hell out of the Bond novels in high school and still really enjoy their atmosphere so I'd be more excited to see a retro reboot of the series than anything else, or at least throw in an old Bentley and a long slide 1911. That said Craig does a good job of staying close to the book's Bond and I think Idris Elba could do the same.
  12. I'd look a little beyond app technologies and the 'sharing economy' to the inevitable automation of transport and most of the service industry and the rapid acceleration of the consolidation or inequality of wealth that will accompany it. I don't think we're going to be like Star Trek with these automation technologies benefiting all equally but at least someone has to program the robots for a while.
  13. Very much enjoying a "Clearance" Monte 2 from 24:24.
  14. I wholeheartedly agree. Their Caribbean and XXX are my favorites and are really versatile. I'll still reach for Tapatio with some pork rinds though.
  15. Having a dark and stormy with some Fentiman's gingerbeer and Appleton Estate. Yum.
