Last night was really great y’all: I can’t remember the last time I laughed so much; what a great way to step away from the daily stresses of life and just enjoy each other’s company. We all gave as good as we got....mostly, and we realized a few new facts: *Luke likes to sit underneath Tom Brady’s sack for a reason. *Havanathon either takes place in Cuba or Australia - and Bud doesn’t care because he’ll go to where ever. *Being a student of Civil Engineering pays in Johnny Blue. *”it’s gotta’ d*ck!!!!! run........” no explanation will be given for this one. This is going to sound weird but I took a ton of empty Tupperware containers that I get when I buy turkey at our local Costco, I can tell you they will fit around 20-25 monsdales comfortably in each one. I did get some funny looks when I had my customs shopping spree day (Club Havana, Yolanda customs at Hotel Melia, etc) when I packed everything up in those Tupperware’s in but everything came thru unscathed after a lot day of smoking, enjoying amazing food out at Santy, and then being jumbled around in my backpack all day long, until we slumped back into our casa off La Rampa in town. https://goo.gl/images/3cKDzP/ Interesting side note: when we were packing bags to leave, we noticed that we had too many tuppers so I asked our Cuban family if it would be ok with them if we left some of them-they just about got teary-eyed bc this was a prime example of what they didn’t have any access to and they LOVED them. I wished I’d brought the 20 more we had just sitting at our house. Oh well, next time. And about customs: us customs defiantly tore apart all the boxes and cabinets I had brought back: so much so that they didn’t even try to put the slide tops back on right and just crushed it all back down when they zipped up the suitcases.
