I was finally able to snag a box of the Punch 8-9-8 (SOP DIC 19). My only complaint is they didn't choose to package it in the old(er) 3-4-3 style box.

Final deliveries from the locker - 2 x PSP Mag 46 (UEB May 18) and 2 x RG88 (SOM DIC 16)

Will do!

That's good to hear. I have only had one example of a Dip 2 ever, but when I saw these come up a few years ago I figured why not. Will be sampling shortly after a little rest from the travel. Cheers!

First delivery in a long while. Dip 2 (TOS MAR 17) called home from the locker.

London Smoke - Saturday 8th of June
AJS replied to El Presidente's topic in Cigars Discussion Forum "the water hole"
I can't believe the odds, but I will be in London on the 8th of June. I'll be there. Haven't seen any FOH members since Havana in November 2016 so it'll be great to catch up. -

What is the worst movie remake of all time?
AJS replied to El Presidente's topic in Cigars Discussion Forum "the water hole"
Came here to say this. Abre los Ojos was a much better film. -
In my opinion, S1E1 of Black Mirror is at or near the bottom when I rank all of the current episodes in the series. The only one I might rank lower is 'Metalhead' from the current season. More shock value than quality writing and/or plot for both of them. Hopefully you'll enjoy the rest of the series.

For FOH Cuba travellers...Rum Museum Tasting

That would be great. I was hoping to attend both that and the rum tasting, so it looks like all will work out. -
For FOH Cuba travellers...Rum Museum Tasting

If it's the Club Havana I'm thinking of (I think there's only one), the two events are ~30 minutes away from each other according to Google: https://goo.gl/maps/v7Gi9HgEjBL2 -
For FOH Cuba travellers...Rum Museum Tasting
AJS replied to El Presidente's topic in Cigars Discussion Forum "the water hole"
I would like to attend the rum tasting. Two questions: Tuesday is the 15th. Is this event happening on 11/14 (Monday) or 11/15 (Tuesday)? If Tuesday, this event overlaps another scheduled event (Amicigar & FOH meet Balcon Baymanaco, Cuban & International Woman Cigar Club). Will we need to decide between one of the two events or has the Balcon Baymanaco event been rescheduled? -
See here: https://www.ttb.gov/tax_audit/atftaxes.shtml for duty estimates for alcohol/tobacco above duty-free limit. Looks like 'large' cigars would be roughly $0.40/each.

US flights to HAV approved

I noticed the same thing @Habana Mike did. I was looking to book American Airlines through Miami to Havana, but the first flights offered are in late November or early December. I ended up booking my flight from Miami into Varadero Airport (VRA) and reserving a taxi from Taxi Vinales Cuba to get me to/from Havana. It's a two hour drive, but I figured it would give me a chance to see some of the countryside and still allow me to fly commercial directly from Miami. -
For the past nine years, I've worn something very similar to the following as a wedding band: Triton Ring As others have mentioned, it has been very durable/scratch resistant. It's also quite comfortable. Just glancing at their website, they appear to have a couple hundred tungsten carbide rings available.

Last Cigar You Smoked Right Off The Truck?
AJS replied to beamer's topic in Cigars Discussion Forum "the water hole"
This happens to me quite frequently as well. Last one ROTT was a Siglo II (BTO NOV12) from a recent 24:24 HP clearance. First two-thirds were fantastic (honey, cream, hay galore). Flavors were much more muted on the last third, which hopefully a bit of time will correct. Going to give another one a try in the next couple weeks.
